Scope a URL shortener
Design a service that turns a long URL into a short link and sends visitors to the original address.
Produce these
Write them in order. A diagram that is not forced by a requirement does not count.

Four to six functional requirements, each a user-visible verb.

Three non-functional requirements with a number or a failure rule.
- 03
An out-of-scope list of at least three tempting features.
- 04
One sentence naming which requirement, if added, would put a write on the redirect path.
Pressure
The interviewer adds “show click counts on the owner’s dashboard.”
Leave out
Custom domains, abuse detection, and a mobile app.
